Salsa is not a solo hobby. The point of learning to lead or follow is walking into a room of strangers and dancing with any of them. That skill is built by turning up weekly, next to the same faces.
Most people book their first class by themselves, and there are always partners in class. Coming alone never means standing out.
Learning next to a friend makes the first night easier. Book two spots on the same class and arrive together.
